The Canadian Foundation for Creative Development and Innovation is a registered non-profit Society in British Columbia. Our mandate is to: -Coordinate and facilitate art projects to raise awareness on the sensitivities in the DTES of Vancouver. Furthermore, we are aiming to foster and promote other social workers, activists and artists active in the DTES to create works and participate in projects with a similar purpose. -Host a range of workshops ranging from councilor assisted art therapy sessions, to highly technical classes held by local artists, professionals or members of the industry. These workshops will be systematically documented via text, photo and video to contribute to the nature of our online presence. -Create a library of diverse, interactive and educational content relating to all creative fields. The library will include educational videos, round-table discussions, interviews as well as written articles and links. We understand in order to keep projects going, funds have to be raised.
